Air Deflector

The air deflector is an important part of the passive containment cooling system (PCS) and is one of the unique equipment of the passive reactor nuclear power plant. The air deflector is a nuclear safety class 3 (SC-3), seismic type I component, located between the shielded building and the steel containment. From top to bottom, it is a C-shaped baffle, a B-shaped baffle, and A. Type deflector, guide and several support structures.
