The National Nuclear Equipment Held to Commemorate the 97th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party

Comrade Song Fengbo, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager, read the "Decision on Honoring the Company's Excellent Communist Party Members and Excellent Party Workers in 2017-2018", and commended 10 Communist Party members and 5 party workers who have outstanding performance in the past two years.

 

At the meeting, the party members’ swearing-in ceremony was held in the past three years. All party members wore party emblems, raised their right hands, and clenched their fists. Under the bright red party, they revisited the party’s oath, further awakened the party members’ consciousness and strengthened their ideals and beliefs.

 

Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman Wang Guozhen made a speech. He gave a special party class to all party members with the theme of “not forgetting the initial heart, remembering the mission, working hard to achieve the company's innovation and efficiency, and the new goal of high-quality development”.

 

Wang Guozhen led all party members to review the glorious course of the founding of the Party in 1997. He called on leading cadres and party members at all levels to feel and pass on the revolutionary spirit, learn to draw wisdom and strength from history, and understand the mission and trust in the new era. The ideals and revolutionary purposes of the party are transformed into a powerful synergy for the development of the company.

Wang Guozhen analyzed the situation and tasks faced by enterprises. It is pointed out that the current company is worthy of “external market and internal management” and achieve a high-quality development. It must implement new development concepts, accelerate the transformation of new and old kinetic energy, and strive to ensure the first-mover advantage of AP1000 products. Breakthroughs have been made in new energy fields such as nuclear power projects, wind power, and photovoltaics outside the AP1000; breakthroughs must be made in management improvement, core technology cultivation, and manufacturing capabilities.

 

Wang Guozheng demands that party organizations at all levels and the majority of party members should highlight political leadership, strengthen the "cohesion" of party organizations, and be firm in not speaking politics, serious political life within the party, and improving their political capabilities. Second, they must promote pragmatic responsibility. Strengthen the "combat power" of the party organization, strengthen the ideals and convictions, dare to take responsibility, and gather efforts to tackle the practice; third, we must persist in grasping the iron and trace, improve the "executive power" of the party organization, and strengthen the concept of discipline and implement responsibility at all levels. Li Kezhong put forward three opinions on implementing the spirit of the meeting: First, it is necessary to thoroughly study and understand Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the spirit of the 19th Party Congress, and implement the spirit of this meeting.
